CUSTOMBIKE 2011 Bad Salzuflen, Germany

Custombike 2011 Bad Salzuflen, Germany

The seventh Custombike Show in Bad Salzuflen, near Hannover in Germany, was a huge success. An audience  of a least 30.000 (or even more!) attended the Custombike 2011 show, which by far is the biggest indoor custom bike show in Europe.

Four halls full of everything custom bike, including of course a huge custom bike show with over 150 competitors in twelve categories, all the main custom parts and accessories suppliers as Zodiac, Motorcycle Storehouse and Custom Chrome to name but a few, was there. The 25.000 square meters were filled with bike builders, P&A, tools, the usual T-shirt, leather jackets, helmets, and other ‘biker goodies’ stuff vendors.  Many Authorised H-D Dealers, Victory Motorcycles, Triumph, and all the main custom bike builders like Walz, Kodlin, Penz, Thunderbike, Bike Farm, you name them; they were at Custombike 2011. Well, basically everyone that has any business with custom bikes was at Custombike 2011 in Bad Salzuflen to show the newest bikes, tricks, parts, products and more. Over 300 exhibitors were to be seen at Custombike 2011!

But also tattoo, special paint, pinstriping, airbrush, and other artists, the creative guys and girls, showed their skills. One day is just not enough to see everything that’s going on at Custombike 2011!

In hall four of the Custombike 2011 show you could hear, feel, smell and see the Rock ‘n Roll lifestyle with clothing and live bands at the King Kerosin stand and much more. Cool Hardknock mini bikes by Kikker, The Ace Café from London was there, Rock ´Roll bands were playing, and many cool bikes made a nice display. Pit´s Minibike ´Wall of Death´ or ´Steilwand-Show as it´s called in Germany, was serious action and good fun to watch.

Live body painting on a well endowed and cute looking blond girl live on stage, were big crowd pleasers. One of the main attractions, live custom bike building, Swiss Béla Görden of Classic Cycles against German Frank Sander, owner of Independent Choppers, drew a huge crowd around their workshop on stage during the three show days.

Enter the raffle and you could win a Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight, a nine days trip to the USA or even a Victory Vegas 8 ball! That’s some serious prize giving!

Strip shows and the Miss Custombike election kept the men busy, the King Kerosin Fashion Show and the many other cool things like the ‘Motor Britannia’ made Custombike 2011 a great show to go to. There was hardly time enough to take photos of Custombike 2011, that big is the show if you go there for just one day. Next year plan to attend the whole weekend of Custombike 2012, that’s for sure!

Yes, that's here... Katharina at her best!

A big thanks to the Custombike 2011 crew, especially Katharina!
